Customs validation at Eindhoven Airport

Since January 2026, Dutch customs uses digital validation for purchases made in the Netherlands.

Your Dutch purchases must be digitally registered with customs:

We recommend downloading the NL Customs VAT App  to check whether your purchases are correctly registered. In most cases, visiting the customs desk is no longer necessary.

At the airport:

  1. Open the NL Customs VAT App.

  2. Enable location services (GPS) and Bluetooth.

  3. Request VAT validation in the app.

If you purchased goods in another EU country and leave the EU via Eindhoven AIrport:

Customs Location & Opening Hours – Eindhoven Airport
The customs desk is located on the 1st floor. Before check-in and passport control, go to the main hall and take the elevator up to the 1st floor. Turn right when you exit the elevator, and you will find the customs desk at the end of the hall. Follow the yellow signs for guidance.

Desk hours: 06:00 – 22:00
Note: Customs officers are present at the airport 24/7.

If the desk is closed, you can contact customs via the phone numbers displayed at the desk. A customs officer will come to stamp your receipts. If the numbers are not visible, please ask an airport staff member for assistance.
